Japan - November ‘23

Japan
What can I say? An unforgettable experience.
And, everyone’s doing it, so why not us too?! And, you!

12 days - 3 cities - 2 bullet train rides - countless bowls of ramen and my first onsen experience. It was magical, and the people are incredible. I can’t wait to go back!

I hope you enjoy the photos of our trip. I’ll take you from our first destination/arrival into Tokyo, then to Kyoto, onto Takayama and back to Tokyo.

TOKYO - First three days and the final two days, included a national holiday, Japan Culture Day! 🇯🇵

KYOTO - We were in Kyoto for 2 full days, 3 nights. We stayed in the heart of the city which made it easy for us to get around. We visited parks, water and had the yummiest food, including famous Japanese Pizza!

Philosopher's Path. A old stone path that follows along a narrow waterway through the trees, with little bridges that cross along the way

TAKAYAMA - The Japanese countryside + into the alps + the traditional farmhouses. The peacefulness, wrapped in nature and dedicated to more slow adventure/travel, also, the Hida beef is out of this world. From here we went to Hirayuonsen, one hour by bus, for the night.

Thank you! For getting this far, for enjoying all of these photos! I hope these photos inspire you to go to Japan.
I don’t usually put too much about our itineraries online because I’m so focused on posting photographs. IF you’d like to know where we stayed, what we did and all the details, please comment below and I’ll start to include those into my travel blogs - maybe I’ll make another one dedicated to all those things!
Happy Travels,

LAS 🖤
